🌍 A close-knit family with a taste for travel

Alina and Andrei have done what few parents would ever even consider doing: leaving everything behind and traveling the world with their little one, Eric. Traveling with a toddler may seem off limits to most parents, let alone traveling the world! These amazing parents set off to explore the wonders of the world together with their child and they make it look so easy!!! Get inspired NOW!!! We warmly invite you to follow their journey on their blog: The Happy Kid as well as on their social media: The Happy Kid.blog. Discover the entire story below.

“You already know that when traveling with your kid, you are worried and full of doubts. Even if we talk about a short weekend away from home, you think about thousands of things. “Will the food be ok for him?”, “Did we pack enough?”, “Is the place enough child-friendly?” and so on. But when you plan for long term travel with a young kid, it’s already the next league in terms of questions and planning. You appreciate every little thing that helps you during the journey and feel like you wouldn’t be able to live without it. That’s how we feel about ISARA, falling in love with this awesome baby carrier and unable to imagine any trip without it.

Almost one year ago, we left the comfort of our home, in search of a new beginning. Just the three of us, two parents trying to escape the “rat race” and an adventurous little boy just a bit over 2 years old. Packing light, with our souls full of hope, we took off to the Caribbeans, planning a journey “around the world”. This adventure was the best decision we could have ever made! It created a strong bond between the three of us and memories to cherish for a lifetime. No one can understand how such an experience can shape the personality of a child unless he sees it with his own eyes!

ISARA was the best partner we had on our journey! We planned our itinerary in South and Central America, then in Asia, choosing safe, child-friendly locations, destinations where we could spend enough time in the middle of nature and places that were on our bucket list for a long time. We’ve traveled through 17 countries and visited countless extraordinary places.

Eric loved being with us all the time and learned on the go about the world wonders. He enjoyed spending lots of time outdoors, from the coffee triangle in Colombia and tea plantations in Sri Lanka, to the tropical forests of Borneo or the surreal Atacama desert. There was no reason for us to worry about how to travel with a toddler; each time he got tired or the path was too difficult, he found his safe spot in the awesome ISARA.

Apart from natural landscapes, we’ve seen impressive cities, like Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, and archaeological sites full of history. By far, the most impressive was the famous Machu Picchu. I’ve heard many people saying it is very difficult to visit with kids, but we loved it and enjoyed every moment of the trip. A good baby carrier can do wonders! Yes, most of the way is not suitable for children and it can be quite tiring too. But Eric was safe on my back, in his ISARA, just enjoying the views or even taking a nap. We had a similar experience at Cambodia’s Angor Wat or visiting ancient citadels in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.

But ISARA was not our partner just in difficult landscapes, it was almost constantly in our backpack, a convenient addition to the daily accessories we carry. Why leaving the beach for the kid’s nap, when he can peacefully sleep close to my heart, in the sound of the waves? Or why not rest during a relaxing walk through the green rice fields in Bali?

Eric probably didn’t understand much about what he saw, but this was never our point. We were able to explore places we were dreaming about, without leaving our son behind or waiting years for him to be older. We could go everywhere together, in a wonderful family adventure, with our son constantly surrounded by love and care.

There is almost no place you want to visit where you can’t take your kids, no matter their age. Actually, it is easier when they are younger. You can have a wonderful family holiday, with the right mindset and the best accessories. Here is where ISARA comes into the scene, helping you to wrap your little one in love all around the world.”
